I thought this forum should have a feature suggestions thread so that things related to creating scripts, LE Nodes, new type of functions could brought up and possibly added to the functionality of ts7 (possibly 7.5 and/or up).

-It would be cool for the camera to have a lens I/O(Custom lenses) and/or a sceneVisual(Be able to get render view or visual representation of the scene. the idea behind this is to use the camera data and output what it sees as a render to file with small dimensions and the make and objects material constantly pick up on that one file that gets over-written through time widget).

-I was wondering if the 3D text tool was going to be in ts7.5(player side) because access to this in some form would be nice (could creat a custom HUD or display certain info outside of LE).

-The number of what line you're on when scripting and if possible auto indent when using ifs, fors, etc(basically after using the brackets).

-If this is possible a basic intellisense on the function params at least say when entering the type of value eg. var, real, etc pop up. I honestly sometimes forget when entering function parameters the type.

-When creating a custom node it would be nice to at least know if the data type chosen is of Mesh Streaming or Chunk Material etc and would also be nice is a duplication of any of the prospects already there. eg. Mat Layer right click it -> select duplicate -> adds a new one in there.

-LoadObjectFromScene - basically goes with my idea of possibly streaming objects from another scene into the cuurent (Basically load and object from part2 of the same type of scene)

-Is it possible to play more than one sound at a time( last time I tried you weren't able to)

-A node that detects the current object selected with a checkbox that makes it pick up all or specific object.

-I'm confused on why I see the vertex shader but not a pixel shader attaching node. Could that be in there (unless "model" is basically "pixel shader")

-A HLSL Only block that can be hooked up to a possible special node that can pick up at least the pixel shader and vertex shader(though technically it would be cool if it could pick up the whole script). If not then is the material editor for the player view pick up the optional for player use?

-I'm not seeing texCube or 3DSampler specifically for the HLSL Side of things. Is it there ,or is there a node that does this in general?

-This would be very little but would it possible to be able to make getFPS apart of the D3DView in the script?

-Keyboard Listener?

-Take a look at trueBlue's post (Sleep Method? (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=1464)) which could also be useful as well.

These are just the few of the things that pop in my head and some I've thought about trying to make sure most were a useful node or script function. Hope those out there who are trying to learn to make user content should also pitch in.

Hope a good amount of these are possible.
