thats were servers come in. nothing supports playlists on a normal webhost,
unless you plan to use some sorta script which directs you to diffrent
files, which in that case, can be used in AW too.
what i'm trying to say is that is isn't AW that is basic, but it is limited
by the streaming video logic...
can't have a station without a media server, just like you wouldn't be ale
to have a website without a webserver.

No need to get technical really. and you know what she's talking about.
what about sound then? jpgs being changed at 0.1fps cannot be considered
video....

gotta say i agree with sweets though. Outsider is just being a smartass.
And thing is i also hate them so called "tv stations". i just think if they
put as much (well, maybe alittle more) effort into proper video streaming,
then they could get something so much better.

well in that case, we could just have a bot change the colour of an object,
and say we're streaming it pixel by pixel? hey, that's the same principle

ya, it may be the same principle, but it's not the same thing, it's

yes, and take the a bunch of pixels, stick them together, and you have a
picture. hell, everything is built of smaller things, but that arguement
doesn't really hold, its not a reason not to have streaming video. proper
streaming video,
Hell, if you were to get technical, the pictures don't even have to change,
and they'd still be TV, after all, television is just pictures coming from
far away, nothing in it's name indications change, or animation.

what would be the need for PKs either? just let them build for a day, and
take it off at the end of the day. it will be just a normal day, except
tourists can build. nothing special about it really, nothing that needs any
extra precautions.
fact is, anything you can do as a tourist, can be done as a citizen, except
if you build as a citizen, it's not easily deleted.

no, see, the registery stops the object from being placed in the world. you
still download the object, even if it's not in the registery, the only thing
is it gets deleted if it's not on the registry, or encroaching.

yes you could. and actually, the dimensions don't need to be the exact same.
would still work, just not very easily next to other peoples land.
the point is, you can't have NEW objects added, you can only modify existing
ones, because of the registry.
