So what does this mean for us normal bot users SR? I know you said bot
producers but how could this effect just a normal bot user?

I have just began to work with the x1 and this week I moved some rather
large builds of mine around with the bots. All the builds were moved in
perfect condition and I think it's a wonderful program but I'm not ready to
make suggestions or many comments as I'm no expert at this by any means but
just wanted to let you all know that I'm working on it heehee. I also used
the bots of x1 to destroy a huge forest I built some time ago and it took a
while cause I did not relaize I could make it delete faster than it was...so
there is a funny little story for you. On the next round of deletion I made
it go at 100 rather than 10 and WOW it was much faster and make me get work
done quicker. A whole new world of AW has now been opened for me after using
the bots for moving purposes. Any suggestions for the beginner here are
welcome. BTW I used this page of directions for moving my builds and it did
just as it said.....and that was directions for dummies to move their

When I move a build with the x1 bots sometimes it will move things that have
move actions on them and other times it will not. Why is this? Should I
remove the move actions before I move a build and then replace them after
it's moved so that at least the object is still there? Will this help or
not? I moved a build and some of the objects with media were not moved also.
Maybe the media file should be removed while moving the build so that at
least the object is still where it is suppose to be located? Maybe it's a
cell data space issue on the new land? How can I work around this if anyone
knows?

Thank You for info XelaG. It worked :) I used the round off button like you
said tonight and it worked like a charm. I suspected incorrect cell limit
all along. Before I was not installing the build in the same cell positions
like you said. I guess is how you say it. Now I know some of the other
buttons and they are very useful. I suppose moving an over built build was a
good experience for me and forced me to learn those other buttons. I also
leaned last night how to rotate a build I moved and it was fun to see it in
the different postition with a little different lighting and shadows from
it's changed position which made one build look much better. I also want to
thank tunablues for checking my post and sending me a gram with similar
information.

I have a small delema of which I'm sure you will all help me with. I want my
xbot to stay positioned when using the waiter script. I used the directions
which are contained within the script it self but I can't get it to work .
What am I missing or doing wrong? I gave the script the cords I want the bot
to stay positioned with and removed a line. I guess the bot will still come
to you when you ask for service but it is my understanding that it should
return to the position I gave it in the script. I'm no pro at this so what
did I do wrong? Thanks in advance. HF

Here is that portion of the script I believe with the default version and
directions that are in the script then my changed version.

Well people who try to add me without my knowledge will see a yellow
question mark ..that is untill i have met them then i take it off on that

I am no expert on terrain and have not used it much but what I have found is
that I have to do each piece and click off the box to the next one. Is this
what she means?

A built in screen capture button on the aw browser would be nice. Many times
I want to take a shot but have to go and figure out how to do it again or
bring up a program I have to do it. With a button it would be quick and
simple and hopefully land the image into the cache someplace that we all use
so much.

no your all misunderstanding ...it's something i would use a lot so why not
have it on the darn browser..and well maybe lazy a lttle yes...i don't want
to have to click all around...all i want to do is see and click see and
click...and besides..not all os's have the print screen option...also
snaggit is not completely free.

One of my most aggregating complaints would be that I can't get into a total
privacy mode or totally invisible mode so on this issue I plan to rattle on
a bit here. Now to me privacy means that others don't see me or know I'm
online but to the aw browser it means your not communicating and many of my
contacts go as far as to say I'm being rude to them. I get so tired of
messages from contacts saying: why you have yellow? on me, are you to busy
building to talk, why are you private, your unsociable today. Well, you all
know the types of messages that the yellow question mark will get you.
Please could we have a button like A BUSY BUTTON, busy building, DO NOT
DISTURB, or sorry I'm just concentrating. What I'm driving at is that you
could leave a message to people as to why you are busy or not being sociable
of your own. Instead of an afk button a busy button that gives an
explanation!! at least so you don't have to explain yourself later to all
your contacts. Also I say trash the AFK button for on my side of the screen
it is useless and pointless. Wish I could show you all the grams saying "are
you really AFK..ARE YOU THERE!!!...along with many other messages. The
yellow question mark and the afk button if left on to long get nothing but
back flash from people. So I say if you want to be unsociable for some
reason or you are busy or building..giving a tour maybe..you should be able
to become completely invisible to everyone so nobody knows your online flat
simple and period. Even go as far to make your av invisible and head
balloon. I have had other cit's try to follow me around to see if it's me so
they can put me on the spot for having on my yellow? I am sociable but when
I want to be sociable not when someone else is board and wants to tell me
all the problems of their day or show me a new build when I am reading or
concentrating on something. Also it's not to lurk..although I admit I have
done that as most of us have...but most times you are reading or trying to
figure something out and you keep getting these annoying grams from your
contacts wanting to know why your not being sociable, where are you.
Furthermore when you do finally come out of hiding you have to explain to
everyone what you were doing why you did it and apologize and all that sorta
crap and nonsence. Also make the button so once you click it you can be
visible online with a message left or become completely INVISIBLE to
everyone and anyone. Also there are times I go online before I can even
start to administer in my world or catch up on my grams people are graming
the heck out of me demanding that I come chat or see their latest build
immiediately. I would love to be able to come online and be invisible at
first and then as I catch up on things such as news groups here for example,
go out and be sociable later if ya know what I mean folks. I know that many
have second unknown cit's just to avoid the privacy issues.

Yes lioness I am uncommunicado unless you have met me or talked to me before
at which time I change my settings for you individually on my contacts list.
You should be able to gram me however as I allow anyone to gram me.>(I
think) If you don't want to see my pretty yellow? just gram me and I will be
happy to change my settings for you but that still will not let you see
where I am located in aw.

This is a good idea as I witnessed LNH one time having this very problem in
her world. A tourist was begging folks in her world to buy them a cit and it
seemed that the tourist just would not stop and for me I was having a hard
time enjoying her world with the begging tourist sending me whipers. She
asked the tourist to stop very politely but they kept on begging anyway and
even used a few swear words. If she had this kind of technology she might
not have had to warn the tourists in front of us all. So in other words she
could program the bot to say something rather than the words (buy me). My
experience is that it's usually a tourist using swear words over a known
citizen. I don't know if LNH was aware of it or not but that tourists was
flooding our whipers boxes with pleas for one of us to buy them a
citizenship. I think a bot stopping this kind of activity for her would be
nice so she can concentrate on other things in her world rather than dealing
with beggers. Seems there is a lot of peeps that beg in aw and I wish they
would stop as it drives me madd when someone begs me to buy them a cit. I
know many of them are teenagers that beg because the parents will not anty
up for a citizenship so they go out and beg citizens. I have purchased a cit
for someone before but I knew the person very well and they did not beg me.

I don't care much for them however I know some of my friends would use them.
I don't think they would bother me unless they slowed down the browser
somehow. It would be nice I guess if world owners could create them to match
the theme of the world. I like good clear type myself and half of the typed
emoticons I don't even understand anyway as i usually just ignore them. So
to type them to me would be useless as I have explained to some friends but
a real ones with the face I would understand. I would rather people just
type the darn word to me in plain english.

I love it when occasionally the weather or backdrop in Alfa changes. Now I
don't want them doing this all the time as I think the origianl backdrop is
ok and basic. Like last winter they left the snow on the ground way way way
to long and I got tired of looking at it and went off to another world to
build. It would be nice though to be able to instantly change from day to
night. The other night I changed the fall_day1 BMP file in the cache for the
hec of it and I was very pleasently surprised how beautiful many of my
builds looked at night. Especially the ones with coronas. I don't dare
explain to friends anymore how to do this though because of a few reasons.
First of all it's very hard to get the basic pc user to find the cache file
and impliment a backdrop into the cache as the BMP file is so misunderstood
by the average pc user including myself. Don't you all think it would be
nice to at least have fast access to a day or night version of Alfa World at
the click of a button or even a change made to your weather by inserting
text into the browser? The problem is that you want your friends to see what
your seeing and right now you might see a night backdrop but they still see
the fall_day1 backdrop.

OH and also you have to constantly refresh the cache with your special
backdrop as the browser restocks the old one occasionally.

Not sure what you mean by PH? cp and could you please explain as to how I do
this this custom toolbar myself on alfa world or leave link where it
explains this in help files. I know it does not change world lights but the
coronas do stand out nice against the darker backdrop and certain things
take on a more noticable appearance.

O does aw use paypal system? or need to use it?..I always just call them on
the phone and charge my tab with them. Not sure I trust paypal system so
much. I would rather pay directly to the seller of a product myself.

But it is kinda nice to move it where you want also and being able to make
it the shape you want it. I suppose sonetimes it's anoying though. I guess
if you think about it...it's just another thing to be in the wrong place at
the wrong time. Maybe having it it the same place all the time is better and
less fuss. I feel however that the Object Properties box always covering the
object your working with is far more frustrating. It seems to me that you
used to be able make it stay in the same place all the time even after you
left AW and came back.

Someone down the list noted that the properties box is in the way. I have
noticed this and it seems no matter what I do it jumps right on top of the
object I am working with or moving. So you move it right...well after moving
a few objects it goes back to covering up the object you are working on
again. Very frustrating. Seems you used to be able to move it someplace and
then it would stay there even after you took down the browser and then came
back.????

This is a good idea for a world however I'm against killing animals in RL
and just the same in VR. I guess you could say I'm a VR activist for animal
rights. LOL. We have enough killing going on in the RW lets keep VR kill
free I say. Let the rabbits and wild bear roam free on the open plains of
VR.

Could be a World Option I suppose..um but I'm not to game on the idea. I
would hate to have a world with bad ratings. How embarrassing!!! And that
could effect those who have G rated worlds. In this universe they would have
the lowest ratings with out a doubt and then all the worlds would have to
become r to x ratings to get a good rating. I think.

Yes, PleasePleasePlease..and get rid of the yellow ? mark or in addition to
the yellow question mark if you prefer. Just give us something better than
the well known hated and dreaded question mark AWI. Make it have a DO NOT
DISTURB or BUSY like you would put on your hotel room door.
