You said "cigarette" infront of potential minors, encouraging them to smoke
which would be illegal for their age. Shame on you! ;P [View Quote] sweetsJun 23, 2006, 9:43pm
no actually after discussion with the GK it turns out it is 'a hole' that
did it....seems a hole is now bad by the wordbot....tell that to the terrain box LMAO....a hole in space....a hole in one....geeeezzuz.... sweets cienaJun 23, 2006, 9:49pm
lol. someone needs to loosen up some screws on that bot. I think they r
screwed into its brain too tight. Thats going a bit too far to eject for a common word like that. [View Quote] baroJun 23, 2006, 10:01pm
The other day some poeple were talking about buggary without incident,
and when I talked about the peacocks and minature asses at the petting zoo??? ejected. It's a little ridiculous. Why not just a word filter like every single online program with chat? Just a simple text file the user could edit or add to (or turn off for those of us not in the us) that would blank or bleep out words that offend your delicate ears. Imagine. no bots, no ejections, no harsh feelings. m0eJun 23, 2006, 10:49pm
I am quite sure that both the GK's and PK's would love such a thing ....
would cut down on their paperwork :-) [View Quote] baroJun 23, 2006, 11:37pm
Exactly, they could actually just help and solve situations of abuse,
not try to play censor on top of the bot. And its fairly obvious that a lot of people only cause trouble since they know there will be such a violent reaction. A lot of people the moment they know there's some draconian enefficient punishment for 'bad' language love to get them selves ejected. And you can say anything you want, for at least one line. An actual chat filter rather than knee-jerk ejects... would be lovely equin0xJun 24, 2006, 3:11am
"Hole" is on the naughty list? Anyone who would know what one could be
refering to in the offensive nature, would be well capable of seeing the word in the chat box. Not like AWI would get emails from parents saying their son/daughter has picked up the word "hole" from a online chat program. [View Quote] sweetsJun 24, 2006, 4:43am
after all these years I thought I pretty much knew what would to use or not
to use to get around that wordbot....this was sure a surprise to me LOL sweets sweetsJun 24, 2006, 4:44am
