Expireyed cit renewal? // General DiscussionwingJun 30, 2001, 3:54pm
Is it possible to renew and expired citizenship? Just wondering since my cit is going to go boom soon and I might want to pick it up
again at a later date. kahJun 30, 2001, 6:52pm
if you have all the delicate info, I'd guess so... and I think that it's
possible to park cits, contact billing at activeworlds.com KAH [View Quote] gamerJul 1, 2001, 8:21am

the AWCI stopped using Anacom... and anyway the Anacom site should be down
because of a CC # DB breach... KAH [View Quote] tony mJul 3, 2001, 6:47pm
if they stopped using Anacom, why is their website still linking to
their Anacom account? [View Quote] builderzJul 4, 2001, 12:38pm
Read the article I submitted to AWNews.com about the database breach. It
should answer your question. It is located at: http://www.awnews.com/article.php?s=151 Builderz Stuff-X - Bot & World Hosting Services http://aw.stuff-x.com/ PGP Key ID: 0xAC0E7073 (for non-commercial use) [View Quote] facterJul 4, 2001, 1:50pm

w/o the total crap that has been said.. yes Wing, if you log in (like Gamer
said) you can enter all of your info again and it will renew it.. depending on your browser, mine didn't like me.. I renewed my account about 2 or 3 weeks ago, if that, that expired in March.. so it proves how lazy AW's workers are.. they can't even clear out my account that was expired for 3 or 4 months.. Actually, I believe they're not clearing for a reason. To inflate the appearence of their program's user count.

No , I believe it has more to do with giving people a chance to return .
And some to do with thier agreeing to not remove <nac> accounts in '98 [View Quote] raven shadowAug 3, 2001, 7:27pm
I was thinking man , I merely stated an opinion that such inflation was not
the sole reason , and probably not the biggest reason . Some people , in the pas, heve been tallked into returning , but wanted thier old accounts back . Think man, there's more info on the subject than you appear to have. Yes , I know there is more to this than stated , But I've been in aw since '97 , and heard/seen alot said about this . If they just deleted the expired accounts alot of gz would have been emptied. There were MANY semi-organized objections to the loss of so much history. Yes I know that 1 or 2 thousand ID's actually are used for Corporate events/vips/ etc ( ie the Pepsi id's ). So they're including temporary visitor's who use the extra ,reserved id's , big deal, a user is still a user at some point in time. [View Quote] eepAug 3, 2001, 8:01pm
But not a CONSTANT unique user as AWC fradulently reports.
