BTW, you mention this being for a game? If you animate in trueSpace, this will not export to your game engine.

You'll have to build the animated texture in whatever engine you intend to use for final delivery. If you plan on people using trueSpace to see the scene, then using scripts like these are fine - people will be using trueSpace to walk around, explore the environment and play the game, and that's all you need.

If you are exporting to a game engine, though, then these animated textures will not export. You will instead need to load the model with non-animated texture into your game engine, and in there follow whatever steps are needed to produce an animated texture. Each game engine will differ in how it defines this and how those animations work. There may be some handy tool or interface that lets you texture objects, or you may have to write code in there that does the animation.

Hi Tom - this is only for a cutscene to a game - so no interactivity is going to occur between person and animation, it's just to create a movie.

Have I set these scripts up correctly though? And if so how do i get them to play?

Ah, for cutscenes then you are a-ok! I can't comment on these scripts, haven't used them myself, so hopefully someone else from the community with a bit of experience with them can say if this looks like the correct setup.
