There is no greater passtime than blowing bubbles through a straw into a
glass of milk. sw chrisJun 5, 2001, 2:13am

I kinda prefer those elbow straws... and if I'm in a real crazy mood I
like those day glow ones that are tied into those fancy knots.. [View Quote] avengerJun 5, 2001, 3:13am
Yea i like those to...oh and sorry rehabber, i hit the wrong reply

I don't drink milk, it's full of hormones and cancer causing agents I don't
even want to talk about, lol I removed milk from my diet years ago and I feel alot better now than I did then, no more mucous problems and no more problems with digestion. Blowing bubbles in soy milk or nondairy creamer might prove to be just as much fun too, lol [View Quote] kelleeJun 5, 2001, 5:39am
Daniel likes blowing bubbles with his milk too..... but he dosent use a
straw lots of antibodies in that milk [View Quote] wingJun 5, 2001, 7:44am
Coca Cola (The old kind with cocaine in it) is much much better for those purposes.

hershey's!....but u gotta drink it quick or the ice melts and messes up the blend. ~Syli~ [View Quote] m a r c u sJun 5, 2001, 6:45pm
You have such a command of the english language.
If we can't moderate our own area in the NG, then we end up with people posting off topic and people trying to moderate. Why do this? Just put in a feature to allow members to moderate their own area and if someone posts off topic you can take matters into your own hand then instead of showing off your cussing skills. [View Quote] goober kingJun 5, 2001, 7:32pm
You seem to have a lack of understanding as to how these NGs function, so allow me to
enlighten you: There are no "areas" in this NG. It's not as if Eep can say "Hey, this is my corner of the community NG, and I don't want any off-topic stuff in it!" We all share these NGs equally and there's no such thing as territory. In fact, the only thing that could qualify as an "area" would be your own personal computer and the threads that you choose to download to it. If that's what you're referring to, then this "feature" you seek already exists. It's called "filtering". If you see someone posting something you don't want to read, simply add that person to your filter, and you'll never hear from him/her again! That way, your "area" stays perfectly clean and you'll never have to worry about encountering anything that could possibly do anything to upset your precious internet experience. I am noting the effects of a Newsgroup that doesn't allow us to have our own
area which is: People will post off topic remarks, and others will try to moderate like you are with me and Eep was doing with avenger. [View Quote] bitmasterJun 5, 2001, 8:39pm
Avenger,
What Eep is nicely trying to tell you is, you should rewrite your post to look something more like. "There is no greater passtime than blowing bubbles.jpg through a straw.rwx into a glass.rwx of milk.jpg." Then you would be on topic. But don't forget to tell us which world we can find the items so we can see for ourselves if this is true or not. ;) Bits [View Quote] eepJun 5, 2001, 9:04pm
Um, and how does one take matters into their own hands (people have 2, you know, so it's plural)? I did it by responding the way I did. <shrug> If people are going to continue to be putzes and post off-topic than they're going to have to put up with negative responses to their drivel.

Go to Andras' off-topic.* newsgroups if you want to post off-topic. Better yet, go to the specific Usenet newsgroup your off-topic post will actually be on-topic in! Think, twit...
Quit being lame. [View Quote] > I am noting the effects of a Newsgroup that doesn't allow us to have our own > area which is: > > People will post off topic remarks, and others will try to moderate like you > are with me and Eep was doing with avenger. m a r c u sJun 5, 2001, 9:30pm
With no moderator, the topic isn't really defined. All this says is
community. Would you prefer I post in Bots regarding non bots issues. That would be off topic. So, I am here, and if I happen to annoy you, tough shit. Get over it or ask for moderation. [View Quote] m a r c u sJun 5, 2001, 9:34pm
If you were moderator and said "Marcus, that is off topic please continue
talking about A (A=topic). Chances are I would refrain from continuing that line of conversation and stick to what you want to have addressed. You aren't a moderator though, so you can't tell people what is and isn't off topic and expect them to take you seriously. Again, if that happens to annoy you, tough shit ignore me. Get over it or ask for moderation. [View Quote] chucks partyJun 6, 2001, 12:59am
Now you know why I have him blocked, LOL I happen to like a bit of humor
posted once in a while :) I am enjoying this NG more and more everytime I block someone I choose to ignore, hehehe [View Quote] chucks partyJun 6, 2001, 1:04am
I said it before and I'll say it again, the SNERTS can turn any thread into
a flame war, even if it's off topic, lol They just can't resist attacking someone and this thread now just is going to get longer and longer and turn into God only knows what now, lol [View Quote] alphabit phalphaJun 6, 2001, 1:07am

Really, screw off eep and find another thread to terrorize, you don't scare
me and you don't scare anyone else, we either block you or tolerate you, I chose the block method myself, lol [View Quote] chucks partyJun 6, 2001, 2:06am
I was thinking tho since I don't drink milk that sipping cider thru a straw
might be good for blowing bubbles in too, lol [View Quote] jfk2Jun 6, 2001, 3:39am
While Chucks Party prefers to BLOCK & FILTER people here...
I don't block & filter anyone here... WHY you might ask? Because even an IDIOT can say someething good sometimes... And i do love to see what that might be if & when it ever occurs... For most people here... Well... For a few people here... They have had the most consistancy of saying something halfway decent and meaningful most of the times... STRANGE as this might be... But the people that have the best to say... ACCORDING TO MY IDEAS & OPINIONS... ARE::: JFK2 [i must be one in there], Chucks Party, Kellee, AND believe it or not... THE FINAL ONE that has the most meaningful posts is... JUST IN chucks party <Chucks_Party at hotmail.com> wrote in <3b1d9c74 at server1.Activeworlds.com>: >Now you know why I have him blocked, LOL I happen to like a bit of humor >posted once in a while :) > I am enjoying this NG more and more everytime I block someone I choose > to >ignore, hehehe sw comitJun 6, 2001, 4:13am
